Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 19, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Annual Filing collects when you use our annual report filing service, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please also review our Terms of Service and Government Affiliation Disclosure.

1. Information we collect

  • Business information you provide so we can prepare your filing — legal name, entity type, state ID, addresses, registered agent details, and report-specific party information.
  • Contact information — the filer’s name, email, and phone.
  • Payment metadata — transaction IDs and order references. We do not store card numbers.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser user agent, and basic request logs used for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your information

We use your information solely to (a) prepare and submit your filing, (b) keep you informed of its status, (c) prevent fraud and secure our service, and (d) comply with our legal obligations. We do not sell your information.

3. Sharing

We share information only with:

  • The state agency where your filing is submitted — this is the entire point of the service, and most fields you submit may become public record at the state.
  • Our payment processor, used solely to charge your card and confirm payment.
  • Our email service provider, used to deliver transactional messages.
  • Law enforcement or regulators when legally required.

4. Tax IDs and sensitive identifiers

If you provide a federal tax ID (FEIN) we mask it after submission and retain only the last four digits for reference. We do not collect Social Security Numbers.

5. Card data

Card details are entered directly into our payment processor’s secure checkout. Annual Filing never sees, transmits, or stores raw card numbers.

6. Retention

We retain order and filing information for as long as necessary to support you, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact contact@formllc.us.

8. Security

We use TLS in transit, encrypted hashing for credentials, parameterized database queries, and audit logging on sensitive actions. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and protect your email account, which is the recovery channel for our magic-link portal.

9. Contact
